Quick Search - find information in Goldmine easily
Quick Search
Searches that were previously impossible in GoldMine can now done with QuickSearch. QuickSearch finds GoldMine records that match specific phrases - in all areas of GoldMine. For example,Searches can be done on :
Emails, including the body of emails
- Contact history, including notes
- Pending items, including notes
- Contact notes tab
- Word, Excel and PDF attached in the links tab
- External documents (not linked to GoldMine)

Information contained within all areas of GoldMine is indexed, using advanced Internet search engine technology. All the words in GoldMine and in the documents are searchable – not just the record headers or document names. Search results are displayed in an easy-to-view grid format and ranked according to relevance of search criteria. Search phrases are highlighted in a preview panel, so that you can quickly scan the contents for relevance. |
| How does the search hit relate back to GoldMine? |
| By double clicking on a result you will be taken back into GoldMine where the cursor will be positioned on the correct GoldMine record, irrespective of whether it is an email, a history record or a pending record etc. |
